Recently, I teamed up with my pals at Netflix to create an official style guide for the all-new reality show, ‘Squid Game: The Challenge.’ In this high-stakes competition, real-life contestants dive into a series of intense children’s games, all aiming for the impressive $4.56 million cash prize.
To add a splash of fun for all ages, I crafted dozens of icons, each echoing a retro-video game aesthetic. These icons represent the array of new and returning obstacles and games—picture it as a blend of old-school nostalgia and the vibrant energy of today’s competition scene.
The goal? Easy connection with the audience and capturing the gamification essence of the ‘Squid Game’ universe.
